How the figures are kept

  • YouTube's figures run two to three days behind, so the last week is re-read every morning.
  • Days are YouTube's own (Pacific time), as Studio reports them.

What it does not do

  • Video and country are monthly slices, top 200 by views.
  • Traffic source, device and subscribed status carry views and watch time only.

Connecting

  1. Sign in with Google and approve read-only access to YouTube Analytics.
  2. Choose the channel to report on.

Read-only wherever the provider allows it. Tokens are encrypted at rest and a connection can be revoked at any time.

How data is handled

Once connected

  • Pulled daily at the hour your workspace chooses, with fourteen months of history where the provider allows.
  • Every figure keeps the request and response that produced it.
  • Available to every answer, dashboard and deck in the workspace.
