Worked examples

Three reporting jobs, start to finish

Each one written out end to end: the prompt that starts them, what comes back in the preview, and what happens the following month.

A note on these

These are illustrative examples, not customer case studies. Confluxly is in invite-only early access, so there are no named customers to quote yet and we are not going to invent any. When there are real, attributable stories to tell, they will replace this page.

Monthly

The board update nobody wants to assemble

An in-house marketing lead reporting to a board every month.

Before

Two days a month: open GA4, screenshot the acquisition report, paste it into last month's deck, retype the numbers, rewrite the commentary, fix the charts that broke on paste.

The prompt

Build our monthly board update for August. Twelve slides: performance summary, acquisition by channel, engagement, conversions against target, then what changed and why. Plain language, no jargon, our template.

What comes back

  • Twelve editable slides rendering beside the chat, in the house template.
  • Every stat card bound to a GA4 metric and the August date range, not typed in.
  • Charts as native objects, so the PowerPoint export stays editable.
  • Commentary drafted from the movements in the data, ready to be argued with.

Next cycle

Next month: duplicate, move the date range to September, refresh. The narrative stays and the figures update.

Multi-source

Eleven client reports from five tools

An agency account team reporting to each client on the same cycle.

Before

The same deck rebuilt eleven times, each from a different set of logins, each a fortnight of copy-paste that lands the day after the client asked for it.

The prompt

Client quarterly review. Web performance from GA4, pipeline from HubSpot, and how the brand is showing up in AI answers. Lead with what moved, close with what we recommend next quarter.

What comes back

  • One deck per client, each bound to that client's own connected sources.
  • Web, pipeline and AI-visibility figures on the same page instead of three exports.
  • The agency's template applied, so it looks like the agency made it.
  • Sources credited on every figure, so an account manager can answer where a number came from.

What is live today

Sources beyond GA4 are still being built. The integrations page marks which are live today. See what is connected.

Rebuild

Last year's deck, this year's numbers

Anyone who already has a deck they like and does not want to rebuild it.

Before

Opening last year's file, deleting every figure, and hunting for its replacement one dashboard at a time. The layout survives, but the whole afternoon goes on it.

The prompt

Here is last year's Q3 review. Rebuild it for this Q3 with our current data. Same structure, same order, update the commentary where the story changed.

What comes back

  • The uploaded deck read for its masters, colours and type.
  • The same slides rebuilt with figures pulled for the new period.
  • Commentary flagged where this year's movement contradicts last year's.
  • Anything that could not be bound to a source left visibly empty rather than filled with a guess.

Next cycle

The rule holds throughout: if a figure is not available from a connected source, Confluxly does not offer it and does not invent it.
